GREELEY, Colo. (January 11, 2018) – It was announced today that Dr. Dan Bates has finalized the purchase of an urgent and primary care facility located at 2928 West 10th Street in Greeley, Colorado.

The law firm Caplan and Earnest handled the purchase. Attorneys Bob Rowland and Gregory James Smith led the firm’s team on this transaction. The firm’s health care practice manages many such transactions, including mergers and acquisitions for both independent clinics and facilities, and those that are part of larger health care providers and hospitals in Colorado and the U.S.

The facility, formerly Greeley MedCare, will now be known as Dr. Now Urgent Care and will provide urgent and primary care to patients in Greeley, Windsor, and the surrounding area. The urgent care practice, which offers same-day walk-in medical care for minor to moderate illnesses and injuries, will be open seven days a week, including weekends. In addition, both the urgent care and the primary care practice will offer convenient early-morning and evening hours.

“We want to meet patients where they are,” Bates said. “Our goal is to provide a better and more convenient experience for the people in our community. Many problems can be solved faster and cheaper by going to an urgent care facility.

“We offer on-site x-ray and basic laboratory services. And, now patients can get 100 percent access to a primary care provider in a much more convenient way,” he added. “When your primary care is too busy or you have an after-hours emergency we are here to help.”

Bates, a physician’s assistant, two medical assistants, a business manager, a clinic manager, and receptionists will staff the practice.
