Paralegal – Immigration
Kristen Hirota has 15 years of experience as a paralegal. She began her paralegal career in 2001 when she joined a boutique law firm in the Boston area specializing in immigration and real estate. After relocating to the Boulder area in 2004, she joined Caplan and Earnest as a litigation paralegal focusing on special education and appellate matters. In 2014, she joined the firm’s immigration team, with a current focus on family-based petitions, extraordinary ability and national interest waiver petitions, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and naturalization applications. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, reading, movies, music and volunteering at her local humane society.
