Matt Dolan is a dedicated family law attorney with nearly a decade of experience helping clients navigate complex domestic relations matters. His practice focuses on all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody disputes, spousal and child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and asset division. Matt is known for his compassionate approach and commitment to achieving results that align with his clients’ unique needs and goals.

Before joining Caplan & Earnest, Matt served as a senior associate attorney at Bloch & Chapleau, LLC, where he built a reputation as a trusted advocate for families and individuals across Colorado. Over the course of his career, Matt has represented hundreds of clients in family law and other legal matters, including personal injury, landlord/tenant disputes, protection orders, and criminal defense.

Matt earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he gained hands-on experience by stepping out of the classroom and representing real clients with real issues through DU’s legal clinics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and history at Colorado State University. Licensed to practice in Colorado, Matt serves as vice president of the Continental Divide Bar Association, having also served as its secretary.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys giving back to his community through active involvement in local organizations. In his free time, he can be found exploring Colorado’s stunning outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
