Caplan & Earnest Adds Experienced Real Estate and Transactional Attorney
Caplan & Earnest LLC announced that Victoria “Tori” Whitelaw has joined the firm as an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate and Transactional practices. She has deep legal experience in contracts, real estate, eminent domain, and natural resources.
“We’re excited to welcome Tori to Caplan & Earnest,” said Brad Hendrick, managing member. “Her experience across a number of disciplines, including contracts, titling, regulatory affairs and litigation, will be a wonderful addition to our firm and benefit to our clients.”
Whitelaw has amassed significant experience negotiating, reviewing, and drafting contracts and real estate agreements including deeds, licenses, easements, leases, and damage releases. She is licensed to practice in Colorado, Wyoming, and Texas.
Whitelaw began her legal career assisting Fortune 500 companies with land acquisition, title review, and eminent domain litigation on multi-million and billion-dollar critical infrastructure projects. Now primarily focused on transactional matters, her past experience litigating a variety of contract and real estate disputes brings to her work a strong depth of understanding in how courts will ultimately interpret and apply contractual terms.
“I’m thrilled to join the Caplan & Earnest team,” Whitelaw said. “The firm’s reputation for superior client service and impeccable professionalism aligns with my personal values. I’m looking forward to collaborating with my new colleagues to continue delivering the best possible solutions for our clients’ legal needs.”
Whitelaw earned her J.D. degree from Louisiana State University and her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
The addition of Whitelaw means Caplan & Earnest now has 39 attorneys focusing on eight practice areas – Education Law, Health Law, Litigation, Immigration Law, Business Law, Compliance & Workplace Investigations, Estate Planning/Probate/Wills/Trusts and Family/Divorce Law.
