Caplan & Earnest Welcomes Nathan Fall to School Law Practice

Attorney Nathan FallCaplan & Earnest is pleased to announce that Nathan Fall has joined the firm’s School Law practice. 

Nathan focuses his practice on education law and represents pubic school districts and other public entities in the complex legal matters that arise in highly regulated environments. He advises clients on employment and labor matters, public sector governance, contracts, compliance, civil rights, Title IX, public records, safety and security, policy development and implementation, and litigation management. 

“Nathan brings an exceptionally valuable perspective to our School Law practice,” said Kristin Edgar, co-managing partner of Caplan & Earnest. “His experience serving as in-house legal counsel for a Colorado school district gives him a practical understanding of the legal, operational, and governance challenges districts face every day. We are excited to welcome Nathan to the firm and know his experience and commitment to public education will be a tremendous asset to our clients.” 

Before joining Caplan & Earnest, Nathan served as legal counsel for Greeley-Evans School District 6 in Northern Colorado. He advised district leadership on complex and high-exposure matters and led the district’s Legal, Compliance, Title IX, and Risk Management departments.  

Nathan began his legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Susan Blanco of the Eighth Judicial District of Colorado. During law school, he interned with Colorado Education Association and the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights. These experiences reinforced his commitment to serve schools, support public education, and help educational institutions navigate complex legal issues. 

Nathan earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he received the Public Good Distinction. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University. He is admitted to practice law in Colorado.
