Caplan & Earnest Attorneys Honored as ‘Barrister’s Best’ by Law Week Colorado

Four Caplan & Earnest attorneys have been recognized in Law Week Colorado’s 2021 “Barrister Best” awards. The annual awards recognize attorneys who are selected as the best in the state by a vote of the legal community and as selected by the publication’s editors.

The four Caplan & Earnest attorneys selected in 2021 are:

• Barb Glogiewicz was named Best Medical Malpractice Lawyer for Defendants. Law Week Colorado noted that Barb “has spent her career working for medical professionals in cases ranging from wrongful death claims to birth injuries.” The publication also cited her experience advising health care organizations on risk management and representing hospitals as reasons for her selection.
• Brad Hendrick was named Best Immigration Lawyer for his work with clients while also leading Caplan & Earnest’s Immigration practice. Law Week Colorado noted that Brad focuses on immigration and employer compliance, and that he “regularly assists companies and individuals with obtaining permits, visas and permanent residence.”
• Kristofer Simms was named Best Trusts/Estates Lawyer. Law Week Colorado noted that Kris “made a large impact amongst his peers for his work” at Caplan & Earnest, and that “his expertise focuses on estate planning, trust administration, probate, taxation and real estate.”
• Doug Stevens was named Best Construction Defects Lawyer for Defendants, and Law Week Colorado noted, “Doug focuses on civil litigation matters including construction, personal injury, medical malpractice and commercial and contract dispute issues.” The publication also cited Doug’s experience “advising outdoor recreation providers on legal and risk management questions.”
